Ahl Albait Islamic School
This runs on Saturday evenings during school terms from 630pm-8pm. Children aged 6-18 are taught Islamic Theology (Aqa'id), Jurisprudence (Fiqh) and Social Rules (Akhlaq). The lessons are delivered in English.
The school was established in 2008 and has grown to now accommodate about 200 students. Students learn the fundamentals of Islamic Theology with a particular focus on Tawheed, the Resurrection and the Holy Qur'an. They also learn the practical rules of daily rituals such as Wudhu, Salat and Sawm. There is also a major focus on the social aspects of Islam such as truthfulness, healthy family relations and friendships and a spirit of community service.
